A Writing History

History and writing are my twin passions.

So much so that I'm writing a historical novel set in Ireland at the turn of the seventeenth century.

At the same time I'm a part-time student toiling through a MA in Professional Writing at University College Falmouth in the UK.

Throughout my professional career writing has always been an important part of my day to day life. Whether it was as a writer of educational textbooks in Tokyo or writing web articles for the Government of Western Australia or indeed writing press releases while being a supply chain manager at Selfridges, I've always written.

For my love of historical fiction, I'm Reviews Editor (UK) for the Historical Novel Review and Editor of the Historical Novels Society Newsletter.
